Tom Repp was an early adaptor of the web for business communications. As Director of Sales and Marketing in 1997 for systems integration company in Detroit, he was an advocate of using the web to market their services. Tom went on to become a partner for a leading web development company in Detroit and then started his own web marketing group in 2002.

David Shires is a true pioneer on the web. In 1995 David started Net-Link Systems, the first company that helped West Michigan connect to the web. In 1998, Voyager.net purchased Net-Link Systems and David went on to manage Voyager.net and its 340,000 Internet access subscribers and 40,000 websites. David and Tom started Market Pipeline in 2006.
